High school students from all over the Bay Area gathered for fifth annual Youth for the Environment and Sustainability (YES) Conference on Saturday, February 24, at Laney College in Oakland. The annual regional conference doubled in size from last year, welcoming over 1,000 students this year. The free conference is an initiative of the Spare the Air Youth program, a joint venture of MTC and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District.
