Bay Bridge/New East Span: Exhibits and Installations 2013-2014
In conjunction with the September 2013 opening of the new San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge East Span, museums and art galleries throughout the Bay Area are celebrating the new span and honoring the old — while also exploring the Bay underneath them. Through photography collections, paintings, artifcacts and interactive installations, each of these exhibits takes a unique approach to commemorating the iconic structures and their significance in Bay Area history.
