Contract Amendment - Interim Open Road Tolling System at the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge: TransCore LP ($4,975,000).This item would authorize the Executive Director or designee to negotiate and enter into a contract amendment with TransCore LP (TransCore) to procure and install an interim open road tolling (ORT) system, on a temporary gantry structure, to permit vehicles to pay tolls at freeway speed in an amount not to exceed $4,975,000.

Toll Bridge Stewardship and Revenue Considerations.Staff will provide responses to the feedback provided at the July Committee meeting regarding the funding necessary to maintain the bridges in a state of good repair and seek direction on whether staff should continue to work toward a December 2024 BATA approval of a toll increase to be effective January 2026.
